Old Joint Stock Theatre
Overview
Located on the second floor, our popular theatre is available for private hire on days where we do not have a performance playing.
The entire top floor can be separated from the rest of the venue so it is perfect for keeping your function all in one place, away from the bustling main bar.
This space is well equipped with theatre lighting and sound and is great for celebrations, conferences or a meeting room with a difference, with the additional option to hire The Sett (former Theatre Bar) as a bottle bar to compliment your event.
Hire prices for the theatre spaces are based on individual requirements of each booking and subject to programming.

The Mezzanine Balcony

Our stunning Mezzanine Balcony is the perfect setting for a sociable gathering. Set above our beautiful bar, this space puts you right in the heart of our bustling venue.
Perfect for dining, or a more relaxed gathering for drinks, we are able to offer formal dining or our popular buffet in this space.

The Manager's Office
Overview
Formerly the Bank Manager's office in the days when the Old Joint Stock was actually the Joint Stock Exchange (See what we did there?). This intimate space is the perfect private room for small parties that want to celebrate with drinks, and either a buffet or formal dining, or even meetings with access to a screen.
With a large fireplace and original features, this space transports you back to the classic era the venue was built in.
Located on the ground floor, this space gives easy access to the main bar whilst being able to have closed doors, to keep your function separate from the busy bar area.

The Chatwin Room
Overview
The Chatwin Room, named after the architect of the building, is located on the first floor. Complete with it's own exclusive bar, this space is perfect for a work or family party, and is equally popular as a corporate meeting space or small conferences. Also used as our Theatre's Bar for pre/post-drinks and intervals when the space is not being used for functions.
Due to the location of this space, we are unable to offer formal dining in this room, however our buffet is always a popular choice for bookings in this room.
