The Award-winning Home of Fringe Theatre in the Midlands
Premier fringe theatre in the heart of Birmingham
Welcome to The Old Joint Stock Theatre - an award-winning studio theatre and one of the Midlands’ leading homes for fringe theatre.
Located above the Old Joint Stock Pub in the heart of Birmingham, we programme a bit of everything: bold new theatre, stand-up comedy, burlesque, cabaret and high-quality in-house productions. We love championing new ideas, giving brilliant performers a stage and bringing audiences something they might not find anywhere else.
It’s a uniquely intimate space, so whether you’re watching a brand-new piece of theatre, seeing a comedian try out new material or settling in for one of our own productions, you’re up close to the action.
